The scanned and digitised newsletters of the original ENGIMA group. ENIGMA was the first and foremost authority on numbers stations from 1993 to 2000, when the group broke up. ENGIMA was the group that organised and standardised identification numbers stations ans noise stations (as they went by many nicknames depending on the monitor).
After ENIGMA broke up, ENIGMA2000 was born to continue the original groups work entirely online. ENIGMA2000 is still the authority on numbers station identifications. On their site you will find their active stations list and the latest E2k newsletter. (The group is invitation only).
Simon Mason is an author and cyclist. He is one of the oldest numbers station monitor still active, contributing to ENIGMA’s newsletters. On his website you can find information (though somewhat dated) and recordings on all original ENIGMA identified stations as well as his book SECRET SIGNALS available to read for free!
Started in 1995 by longtime Dutch monitor Ary (another of the oldest monitors still going), Numbers and Oddities has become the secondary authority alongside ENIGMA2000. Ary’s identifiers have become placement ones for stations not identified by E2k, and often becoming official.
Mystery Signals of the Shortwave is a station that focuses more on noise and oddity stations, but has some numbers station information as well.

The Spooks Newsletter is a public newsletter for numbers station enthusiasts. Just enter your email and you can add information and talk to other monitors.
