Back in the day, all you needed was a good shortwave radio. There was really no way to get schedules unless you made them yourself by painstakingly tune through the bands until you hear anything that sounded odd. Now, in the wonderful age of the internet, other monitors have made schedules you can use for yourself and online radios located around the world!

Schedules

ENIGMA2000’s charts section at the end of their newsletters tend to be the most accurate schedules you can find. The charts might be hard to understand for a beginner, but very useful once you do. Please note this chart section is provided in good faith and the copyright remains to E2k and their members and not meant to be stolen and reposted online.

Priyom’s schedule is also good and incorporates frequencies provided by Ary Boender.

Online Radios

Kiwi SDR is the new kid on the block, but has become one of the free online SDRs with the most impressive choice. On this site there are SDRs from many counties in Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. All Kiwi radios are also 0 to 30 MHz! PLEASE NOTE: the SDRs only allow FOUR PEOPLE TO USE AT A TIME!

The most renowned SDR, spanning 0 to 29 MHz located in the Netherlands. Though WebSDR has others, this is the one with the biggest range. This SDR can receive most numbers stations located in/aimed for Europe.

Globaltuners has many radios of various band ranges from around the world. However, you are required to join and have to wait for a few weeks to be able to fully use them.

Streams

In case the Russian channel stations are your interest, but have no way to listen for messages (some Kiwi SDR locations can pick these up as well).
